Films

Dance Genres in Film 1.

Which one leads, the dance or the dancer? Dance Genres in Film 1 series introduces various concepts of dance and dancer. These seven short films of the first thematic series present different dancers with whom the dance changes, and who sometimes experience change with the dance.

Dance Genres in film 2.

The second thematic series of the festival presents ten short films that provide an individual viewpoint on dance and the moving human body. As a whole, these films also offer one possible answer to the question of what is meant by the term dance film – what can it express, and how? The expressive power of movement need not be tied to dance vocabularies or narrow definitions of art, as the borders of film and dance are open to new, freshly challenging visions.
